The rooms are 4 stars the casino layout and spacing is very good.

Very good on comps and service.

For the true Gambler this is a great spot…….one thing makes them excellent, they have true casino host!!

If you’re a true gambler the casino hosts here will take great care of you……at first I thought I was just lucky

and happen to get one good host, but after she retired her replacement was every bit as good.

Even if you are not a big gambler the mlife players card comp system works great.

They have a very nice spa to relax and some great resturants.

I’ll be updateding this one a lot…..so check back often and feel free to ask question in the comment box.

I started visiting this Casino for a week or two at a time every since it opened,

for years while they were trying to building up business they were great.

(Now you know the “BUT” is coming)

I can rant for a long time on as they grew, they fell.

They have all the tools to be a great Casino-Resort, They added a golf course, a spa, suites, etc

But they’re players card only benefits you there (and doesn’t benefit you much there)

They have one excellent Casino Host, but one good host can’t keep up. They want high rollers but they’ve over packed

the Casino with nickel machines and overwhelmed the table area, and heavy promote bus trips from I don’t

know where.

It’s a real eye opener when you go down to the casino from your room and there are rows and rows of slots roped off

with a sign that says something like “This area is closed by order of the NY Gaming commission”

This really makes you wonder how much “rigging” is going on?

Unlike many other Native American Casinos who the proceeds are for the benefit of the tribe, I’m told that’s not

the scope here (other than providing some jobs) there is an un-elected few that are keeping the money.

If you visit for the Golf and spa……they are both nice but expensive so take a lot of cash and don’t

expect the service that goes with the price tag.

If you are a gambler the Casino layout and spacing is almost perfect.

My last stay at this Resort was for a week and I was ranking everything, including the staff Five Stars, on day five

I found my only complaint……a very rude casino host, this young woman put a real damper on what had been a wonderful week.

Now the next day I stopped in the host office to get her bosses name, and met another host who was very professional and who tried to make up for the other host. (it still left me on a rant about the rude host for a long time and casino hosts is a real big topic among gamblers in the VIP lounges etc.)

Otherwise although not cheap the Aria is the place to treat yourself.

Last year I would of highly recommended this casino hotel for the pure gambler “BUT” over the past six to eight months it has dropped way down my list.

For a long list of reasons, it’s shocking they’ve changed so much!!

The Hotel is “nice” I give it 3 stars, they have a full range of slots and table games and are a member of the Harrah/Caesars players card group.

They have a Diamond lounge for Diamond card holders, excellent and unique buffet and the one of the best all night snack bars called Aces High.

Where they’ve really gone down hill, well let’s start with the slots. The slots used to have a fair rating and with so many in a close space you’d hear machines ringing and jackpot cashiers fairly busy.

Now whether you’re playing the 5 cent machines or the 50 dollar machine they are so ”TIGHT” you quickly get tired of feeding them bills.

I find this pretty silly, since it’s common knowledge people will play longer and spend more in slots for entertainment if they are winning a little a long the way.

Second; They’ve made the tables uncomfortable to play, they’ve put three or four rows of tables in the space more sized for two rows. Ad the live band stage (with bar room type bands) blasting right over the table area ( I like to hear myself think when I’m betting large on cards)

The Horseshoe still busy on the weekends, it seems Management has targeted a lower spending local crowd and driving away upscale business.

Comp Rating; Very Low

I hope they wake-up soon, I’d be thrilled to upgrade them!
